Beautiful baby

Pretty much everyone has already seen these, but it's no matter to me!!  I love looking at these pictures, love looking at the little piece of heaven we were given last April.  In some ways it's so hard to believe she's already a year (13 months!) old, and in other ways, it feels like she's been with us forever and is coming up on her 16th birthday.  I definitely say the past year has been the fastest, longest year of my life.  Even when she's a terror -- and we have several moments of terror -- she is the best thing to ever happen to us!!

Amateur mom-tog

Know what a mom-tog is?  A mom/photographer.  I got a really nice camera for my birthday last year and am ashamed to say I still don't really know how to use it, aside from the automatic settings where I just point and click...which sort of defeats the purpose of having a fancy-schmancy camera.


Anyway...it was beautiful outside this afternoon, so before the attempted naptime (I say attempted because there was no afternoon nap, unless you count the 60 minutes Amelia spent squealing, singing and yodeling) we popped outside so I could practice.


Without further ado...

So yes, I am clearly a novice but I plan to study up and get better at this.  Of course with another baby on the way, I am not sure I can learn all I need to in 3.5 months!
